I don't like the results of the SDXL version. My current theory is that because SDXL knows very little about anime tags and concepts it needs a lot more specific examples in the training data. This means while Pony and Illustrious were able to react to the training data and extrapolate new ideas SDXL, for lack of better term, lacks "creativity" when it comes to anime.
