This page contains waifus from the chinese gacha game (and defenitely not Kantai Collection's arch rival, far from it) Azur Lane. Compared to Kancolle's subtile fart of a "story" and "lore" (which was interpreted in countless ways by the fanbase in order to fill in its blanks) taking cues and references from WWII but having all of the player ships unite together against the Abyssals (Neuroi, anyone?), Azur Lane has a genuine lore to its universe which structures each nations as their own factions like in WWII but taking less references and making the universe more lighthearted and less serious in a way, especially in the way of alternate costumes for many characters, compared to Kancolle's poor quantity in the game while the rest are only used for promotional material for some reason (even Azur Lane does that but not as much FWIK).

Obviously each character that hasn't been trained with IllustriousXL/NoobAI before will have all of their skins, regardless of their obscurity, with some that I know posing a true-ass challenge.

Hatakaze is one of the nine Kamikaze-class destroyer ships built in 1924 and part of the 5th destroyer division in the Imperial Japanese Navy, she died in 1945 due to aircraft attack. Not to be confused with the one from Kancolle which has similar costume design but with larger breasts and no animal features, a staple of Azur Lane.

While she's extremely obscure like with a handful of other ships in the game, surprisingly she recieved a META variant, which at first I thought that they are meant to be some sort of counterpart to KanColle's abyssals, but instead are a separate faction with ships that happen to be an alternate (dark?) version of themselves,
