Tile upscaling with Ultimate SD Upscale版本SDXL v1.0 (ID: 1243388)

This Workflow uses Ultimate SD Upscale.

Also DMD2 LoRA 4steps, if the model itself is not DMD2.

Models are better downloaded via ComfyUI Model Manager.

Workflows:

ComfyUI_TileUpscale - basic Workflow.

ComfyUI_TileUpscale_FAST - by using AlignYourStepsScheduler, reduces the number of steps, the quality is a little worse, but mostly it is not noticeable. I mainly use this method.

I think this Workflow will be more interesting for those who have just started using ComfyUI, so I tried to simplify everything.

I recommend choosing settings with fewer seams, that is, so that the image is divided into 4 tiles.

For Upscale by 2, must use the original image size - tile_size 1.

To Upscale by 3, it is better to multiply the image size by 1.5, so that we get 4 tiles again - tile_size x1.5.

Well, the same with an increase of 4 - tile_size x2.

You can also use 3x1 - these are 9 tiles and, accordingly, a lot of seams, but for Low RAM this better.

Ultimate SD Upscale settings:

Denoise - 0.25-0.45

ControlNet Strength - 0.25-0.75

If you notice double image or color differences where tiles meet, you need to lower Denoise or raise ControlNet Strength, or both.

I don't use "seam_fix_mode" because it increases the time and the result is rarely better, but you can try.

This method is suitable for any style and not only for photorealism, it was difficult for me to make Pony models give a decent result, but it is possible.

For Pony and Illustrious I recommend Upscale 2x1, this is usually quite enough. For photorealistic models Upscale 3x1.5.
