Here’s a basic demonstration of the Flux latent tile upscale workflow, which offers the following advantages:
1. It preserves the base image composition while adding details.
2. More details can be added by increasing the number of steps. The default is 12 steps, but if your computer can handle it, you can go up to 100 steps. It won’t alter the original image. I’ve only tested up to 20 steps, which added more detail compared to 12 steps.
3. Since tile upscaling is used, you can scale to any magnification factor you want: 2x, 4x, 8x, etc. When using higher magnification, remember to adjust the tile size accordingly.
