Annabella Avery “Bella” Thorne, born October 8, 1997, in Pembroke Pines, FL, is an actress, recording artist, author, and director. Thorne's career in entertainment began at a young age, with her first uncredited appearance in the 2003 film "Stuck on You." She received recognition for her roles in the series “Dirty Sexy Money” (2007–2008) and “My Own Worst Enemy” (2009), the latter of which earned her a Young Artist Award.

Her breakthrough came in 2010 when she was cast as CeCe Jones in the Disney Channel series "Shake It Up," alongside Zendaya. The show, which ran for three seasons until 2013, catapulted Thorne into the spotlight and established her as a rising star in the teen entertainment world.

After "Shake It Up" ended, Thorne transitioned into more mature roles, appearing in films such as "Blended" (2014), alongside Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, and "The DUFF" (2015). She continued to balance her film career with television work, including a starring role in short-lived drama series “Famous in Love” (2017-2018). She also appeared on MTV’s "Scream: The TV Series" (2015), based on the popular horror franchise. Thorne was initially offered the lead role, but instead requested to play “mean, terrible” Nina, whose murder in the first episode kicks off the series. Thorne compared her role to that of Barrymore in the original film.

Thorne's film career continued to flourish with roles in various genres. She appeared in the thriller "You Get Me" (2017), the teen drama "Midnight Sun" (2018), and the horror-comedy "The Babysitter" (2017) and its sequel “The Babysitter: Killer Queen” (2020). In 2019, she made her directorial debut with the adult film "Her & Him" (2019), released through Pornhub.

Thorne has also found some success in music. After featuring on numerous songs related to “Shake It Up,” her debut EP, “Jersey,” was released in 2014. Throughout the 2010s, she continued to put out music, including the singles “Bitch I’m Bella Thorne,” “Pussy Mine,” and the Steve Aoki collaboration “Do Not Disturb.”  Her debut studio album, "What Do You See Now?,” arrived in 2021.

Thorne has also made a name for herself as an author. In 2014, she released her first novel, "Autumn Falls," which was followed by two sequels, and in 2019, she published a collection of autobiographical poems titled "The Life of a Wannabe Mogul: Mental Disarray.”

In 2020, Thorne made headlines when she joined OnlyFans, a subscription-based social media platform often associated with adult content. Her debut on the platform was controversial, with Thorne breaking records by earning $1 million in her first 24 hours and $2 million in her first week. However, her presence on the platform also sparked criticism and policy changes that affected other content creators.

Thorne’s other ventures include her own cannabis brand, Forbidden Flowers, and a jewelry line called Thorne Dynasty.

Throughout her career, Thorne has been open about her personal life, including her sexuality (she identifies as pansexual), her struggles with dyslexia, and her experiences with sexual abuse. She has used her platform to advocate for various causes, including LGBTQ+ rights and mental health awareness.
