Whilst messing around with Comfyui workflows I found a sort of scuzzy, grebo, intergalactic punk rock hip hop aesthetic that I liked. My attempts to merge Loras and checkpoints to try to recreate this style failed miserably, so I looked to see if there was anything else I could try. That's when I found out about Kohya_ss

Now, since I have a lowly GTX 1060 6GB card, I wasn't sure if I could utilise it properly, and I wasn't able to find many good resources explaining what to do, but I manged to fudge my way around it and get something to happen.

Firstly, I created about 40 images using the Comfyui workflow I liked - creating an image with AbsoluteReality (https://civitai.com/models/81458?modelVersionId=132760) checkpoint and ChavGirlAlph (https://civitai.com/models/198487/chavgirlalpha) Lora. This was than passed though DarkSun (https://civitai.com/models/58431?modelVersionId=237459) checkpoint and Add More Details (https://civitai.com/models/82098?modelVersionId=87153) Lora to make images in the aesthetic.

These were then captioned in Kohya_ss using the WD14 tool. These were then trained against the AbsoluteReality model. This was rather slow on my poor old card - thirteen hours give or take - however, having once written a basic program on the ZX Spectrum +2 to display a black and white Mandelbrot set I can sometime be patient...

Anyway, this is the outcome of this first trial. I'm quite happy with how it's turned out. It's still not exactly what I'm looking to create but it is a first step.

Maybe someone else will find some use for it.

If anything, it shows that any fool can stumble around to creating a checkpoint that produces results, no matter how old and decrepit their hardware is...

I don't have any suggestions as to what settings to use, just play around til you find something that fits your needs...
