About the subject:

Canadian singer, songwriter, and dancer who first gained prominence at the age of 13, as the first Canadian finalist on the American reality television series So You Think You Can Dance. She then signed with RCA Records in 2019 after her songs had gained traction online, and has since released 2 EPs and 2 studio albums, I Used to Think I Could Fly (2022) and Think Later (2023). In 2021, McRae was the youngest musician to be featured on the Forbes' 30 Under 30 list. Her dance skills are well noted, having trained at the School of Alberta Ballet as well as the YYC Dance Project. and winning the Mini Best Dancer in NYC at the Dance Awards in 2013. She has over 4.6 million followers on Instagram.
