At a Glance:

• Base model: Illustrated (but you can experiment with other kinds!)

• Use a VAE?: Yes (baked or your choice)

• Clip skip: 1 or 2 (2 is usually a little better IMO, but not always)

• LoRA weight: generally from 1 - 0.7 (adjust as necessary)

• Hires. fix: use non-default upscaler; denoising strength 0.5 - 0.4

Description:

This LoRA will create art in a style similar to the Over the Garden Wall miniseries. At the time of posting this, I actually haven't watched the show yet, but everything I've seen about it looks amazing! It's next on my watchlist after I finish catching up on The Dragon Prince, maybe sooner if I can't wait!

As for the LoRA, while it doesn't seem to nail the art style of the show 100% precisely, I'd say it can get pretty close, and will give you the right vibes for sure. Characters will look pretty cartoony, backgrounds a bit painterly, and overall you'll get that sort of darker, sepia tone that the show presents.

If you're having any issues, please see the "At a Glance" section above. Basically, try different base models, try both clip skips, and try different LoRA weights until you find some combos that work well for you!
