I am not a professional COMFYUI workflow builder. In fact, I only recently started experimenting in COMFYUI (transitioning from A111). I spend more time on image creation and checkpoint training than I do in workflows.

FLUX made me do it though!

After building a workflow to use FLUX as an image enhancer for PONY/SDXL images, it made sense to slim that down to a solid FLUX Txt 2 Img model retaining the upscalers. This workflow can get you phenomenal results but is straightforward to use. It does require a decent amount of GPU strength to run FLUX though. I have not tried the smaller FLUX model, but I would assume it could work in this as well with some minor tweaks.

What does FLUX-Capacitor do?

FLUX-Capacitor Txt2Img takes a FLUX image and allows you to apply HiresFix, SUPIR, and # separate upscale passed to the it.

Not for everyone!

Be warned. FLUX and SUPIR both take alot of computer power to run. I have not had any problems but I am on an NVIDIA 4090 and I have 128GB of system RAM. You can turn off many of the options, but if you cannot run FLUX effectively than this will definitely not work for you.

Not for OCD!

My workflows are built for function not always form. I have not progressed to "noodle management". It works, plain and simple.

This is not me being rude. I really barely know COMFYUI myself. I make workflows that work for me. I am sure they are not optimized as well as they could be. (Feel free to optimize it and post it back to me!!) If you encounter problems, feel free to ask in the chat - but we may both be waiting for someone smarter than me to answer it. :)

Here is the FLUX model I am using currently (link to it is in the comments):

Here is the SDXL Checkpoint I am using (mine), but you can swap in a quality checkpoint that matches the image type you are going for. I like this one because it is flexible to fit most types. It only has minor influence over the upscalers to my understanding.

Here are the SUPIR Clip and Checkpoint Settings I have. Note that the second Clip name is not the default name for that file. I had issues downloading it and so it was renamed. You can probably google the correct name or check some SUPIR workflows to grap it. Sorry I do not recall what the default name for it was.

For the upscalers, you can use whichever models you normally prefer. Here are my most common two but i experiment with others:

For the CFG presets - I only recently started messing with those so I would say experiment with the defaults. My samples used the "For Magic" preset mostly. I have not really worked through them to see level of impact and which is preferrable yet.
